Manchester United, one of the most successful teams in England and was once feared as one of the most intimidating teams in the world. With such a huge legacy, they needed some pretty statement kits to wear out on the pitch - and they did just that! Here’s a look at some of the most iconic Vintage Manchester United Shirts from throughout the years (in no particular order)!

Manchester United 2004/2005 Home Kit

The 2004/2–5 season was United’s 13th season in the premier league and 30th consecutive season in the top flight. Although this season finished trophyless, there was one iconic moment which brought Manchester United fans years of joy - the signing of Wayne Rooney. In the summer of 2004, Rooney joined the Boys in Red for £25.6 million as a 19-year-old, 20 years on, he is the record goalscorer for United. Other than the golden boy signing, United watched a relatively disappointing season finishing 3rd in the Premier League, a League Cup semi-final loss, a shoot-out FA Cup final loss and a first knockout round defeat in the Champions League.
